Comprised of guitarist/vocalists duo Preston St.Jules and Anthony Ramirez, with Eugene on bass and Daniel Soerensen on the drums to complement the rhythm section, Transient Reverie captivates the audience in a soundscape of melodic guitar riffs, hard hitting drums, driving funk infused basslines, and tight harmonies. Their live performances are true testaments of the energy and passion that each member dedicates to their fans and the music they create.
The unique sound produced by Transient Reverie is largely due to the fact that all four members introduce their own compositions and ideas, stemming from a variety of diverse genres, influences and different perspectives. With all the pieces in place, Transient Reverie invites the audience to join their journey in the musical expression of their lives lived so far and what’s yet to come.
Spending most of his formative years in the United States, Anthony is a multi-instrumentalist starting with guitar and drums at age 15 and learning other instruments since then. His core passion being writing and composition, he is influenced by many different styles of music ranging from pop to reggae, to rock and indie. What's always stuck out to Anthony is the way a well written piece can capture a moment in time, a nuanced emotion, cause reflection, and compel inspiration. Some of his big influences are Tom Petty, Kurt Cobain, Max Martin, Bradley Nowell, McCartney-Lennon, Prince, Donovan, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Frank Zappa.
Born in Podilsk, Ukraine, he eventually settled in Toronto, Canada, after several moves to different cities and countries. His musical journey began in 2022 at age 15 after buying his first bass, a Yamaha BB234 bass. Eugene is largely inspired by artists like SadSvit, Three Days Grace, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, and Crush 40, across genres such as Amenbreak, Indie, and Post-Punk. When the Ukraine-Russia war started on February 24th, his family moved to Chișinău, Moldova, where he immersed himself in music, gaining experience from the local scene and drawing influence from Japanese rock artists like ZUTOMAYO, Suspended 4th, Sheena Ringo, Akira Yamaoka, The Pillows, Ado, and Mass of the Fermenting Dregs. Eugene bought a Squier Stratocaster to develop his songwriting skills, allowing him to create a signature style of complex yet accessible bass lines. In the summer of 2025, as an international student in Toronto, he purchased his dream bass: a Yamaha TRBX605FM.
Born and raised in the small northern Ontario town of Blind River, Preston St. Jules has been exposed to music from an early age. Music was always playing in the home or in the car and it was at this time that Preston started to feel the energy and emotions that were stirred up as he listened. Preston developed an interest in the instruments that he would see in music videos, but all that changed when he saw Rory Gallagher's beat up Fender Stratocaster in a book from his school library. Through Much Music, Preston saw live performances by Guns N' Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bush, Big Sugar, Our Lady Peace, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, and Aerosmith, all of which had a massive impact on him. Preston got his first guitar for Christmas in ‘96, and his musical Journey eventually led him to relocate to Toronto, in 2007, where he continues to create music.

His style is largely influenced by the drummers he grew up listening to including Neil Peart, Taylor Hawkins, Steven Adler, and Stewart Copeland.
